New Stuff for '09

Happy belated New Year! I know i'm just a tad late but I've been busy so far this year.

I've made a few resolutions for myself this year. I don't normally make resolutions simply because I never follow through with them. BUT, this year is different. 2008 was pure hell in a hand basket, so I've got to stick to my guns and follow through. and hope for a better 2009.

  • First, stop procrastinating already! Make a list of things that need done and just do them instead of holding off until i'm sick and tired of thinking about it all.
  • Second, eat healthier and get more exercise. Exercising more when I have a desk job really stinks... so I've been going to work an hour early each day and doing at least one mile on the treadmill. This week, I've stepped it up to a mile and a half on this thing...I call a ski/bike/rowing thingy. But I think its called an elliptical. After a mile and a half on that "thingy" I go into the sauna for 15-20 minutes.Thank goodness my job is into being fit and healthy... a 24/7 fully equipped gym and a personal trainer... all free :) Thanks job! And of course the white stuff keeps falling from the sky and I've been shoveling the "mile" long driveway each day at least twice.
  • Stop being so sarcastic. I'm pretty good at being a smart a**!
  • Be a better listener.
  • Don't take things for granted...family, job, health. Nobody knows what tomorrow brings.
So, those are my resolutions. And I'm going to try and do my darndest to stay on top of them.
