Snow day... sorta

3:30am-wake up to ice covered roads

3:45am-drop Tim off at work.. roads not the greatest but drivable.

7:00am-I call the emergency cancellation number... 2 hour delay. I go to work anyway.

7:45am-I make it to work and the snow is falling from the sky by the bucket fulls.

8:45am-work is cancelled.. but I'm already there so I work until noon. I figured I had to at least make it worth my while of getting up and tackling the roads.

12:15pm-I start the treck home..but only after 20 minutes of clearing the white stuff off the car.

1:00pm- I make it to the front of my neighbors house and started talking about how much snow we already have and how much time we both spent helping eachother shovels our driveways the night before.

1:15pm-I make it into the house ...finally. I get myself a bite to eat and turn on the t.v., ugh damn soap operas! Where's the weather updates that every major news channel interrupts regular programming for? Oh well...its cold and icy and a lot of snow.

1:40pm-Back in the car to go pick up Tim from work. Along with my trusty side kick Shelby, we venture back out.

2:00pm-At Tims work...waiting... waiting...

2:30pm-At last...appears Tim.

2:50pm-HOME

3:00pm-In bed for a 3 hour nap. Hey, I deserved it.
