Sty...in my eye

I'm sitting at work..rub my eye.. "ouch". Is it possible to get arthritis of the eyeball? I don't think to much about it. Next day I get up and get ready for work...look in the mirror.. "Holy Toledo"! Who punched me? I go onto work...oh golly i must look like some domestic case and lordy it hurts. I last about an hour and a half. Ok, I'm going home and call the DR. Nobody sucker-punched me... I have a sty on the inside of my eyelid. Its swollen, and red, and I look like droopy eye because its so swollen that my eyelid can't stay all the way open without pain. Seriously... it needs its own zip code. So, I called the doc...warm compresses a few times a day.. (warm makes it look worse..so I'm alternating warm and cold compresses) and I'm using some medicated drops and a special ointment for the redness on the outside of my eyelid. Its gotten better.. a little.
